Unhappy A Prayer for Survival
just to say ahead of time, this is a true story and request, and is not fluffed or sugar coated

A girl in my grade was in a terrible accident earlier today, and she is now in Intensive Care at our local hospital.

She was going to school this morning, with her mom and her brother when their truck hit a sheet of black ice. Her mom lost control and they slid off the road, striking a tree near the roadway.

Her mother and brother get off with minor injuries, but she wasn't so lucky. She was on the passenger side when they hit the tree, and she took most of the blunt force. She has several broken bones in her face, and her brain is swelling.

We have no news yet of how she's doing, but we all pray she makes it, and I only ask that you include her in your prayers tonight.

a layer of ice on the road that a driver can't see VERY easy to lose control of your car if you are going very fast at all

I'm in Seventh Grade as well...An age where pains in life come at you with full force. And since you're also a very special forum friend of mine, Storm, I'll pray for her...Haven't prayed for a while actually.

lol...

if you think seventh grade is bad ... your gonna have a hell of a time in high school (not to mention college) ... think about all the pain your going through now + 3 times the homework + a sport (or two) + actually having to worry about your grades + extra curricular academic activities + preparing for ACT/SAT ... the stress adds up ... you get the picture

anyways ... an accident like this recently (like 5 days ago or something) happened to a kid at my school but he ended up dieing because no one found him for a long time, kind of scary

Best of luck to your friend, and I seriously hope she makes it.

A kid in my school (a senior) died in a car accident last week, and i just hope that the same disaster doesn't happen twice.

i hope she is okay.. i know a few people who got it bad in acidents and its hard on them and everyone around them
